In the beginning the Elder's committee wanted to have a ceremony for all newly confirmed Elders. This is one of the first certificates of recognition from 2003. Through the years this formal process has morphed from a bell ringing ceremony in Shady Grove into the Elder's Meet "n" Greet on Thursday evening of the Fair. The Meet "n" Greet is lot more informal and fun.
